but, to get to that point im ususally going out like 10km away. can have like couple hundred forges and boxes of stone and bunch of cement mixers. I will do rooms off the tunnels for loot and forges as I go. so The tunnel in the end becomes 4 high by 4 wide. I go back and do a concrete floor, concrete ceiling, and concrete walls. never making the roof higher then 6 high and the sides 6 wide. yes, I do dig it big enough to place wood blocks down on top and down for the ladders and for the Iron or vault hatch to sit up flush with the ground. Originally posted by Little Lizzyroo:I just tunnel down right to bedrock. Which funpimp should change so its impossible to break. I mean it already sucks enough that funpimps made it so zombies use their HANDs to break CONCRETE BLOCKS. I swear it would be the First zombie on any server I run that will be editted either out of the game or changed to be like ever other zombie. Now if the Funpimps EVER made a zombie that actually dug quickly to bedrock. nearly all the time im in tunnel at bedrock and just digging entire time. make sure its flush with the ground.įor me, Horde doesnt bother me at all. making concrete walls around the top with shotgun traps can be useful to on protecting the hole must have Iron or vault hatch. make it so can place a door onto that room. for a couple forges and campfires and chem bench. Dig tunnel at least 50+ meters away do 10x10 room off side of the tunnel. Never build forges and campfires right under the Hole to bedrock. that is the quickest way to get hordes to come get you faster. to escape thur to hide or bottle neck the zombies into single wide if they got down.Įither way. another way making a 2high 1 wide tunnel going at least 200 meters. another way to help is using of a few doors as well works in the tunnel.

if you did the horde will find the door and get in. IF you did not build right under the hole in the ground with forges and campfires. they might never get to you before the night is finished. work on clearing a 10x10 room.ĭepending on the length of your horde night for blood moon. Do not put forges or campfires down right under the hole or right next to it. with like rooms that are 10 length and 10 wide by 4 high rooms ever 1km for chests and forges.Īll i can say is, Do a 1x2hole down to bedrock, room for blocks on way down and ladders to get up and down on.

#7 days to die base how to

I dig down mainly to set up a lot of forges and stuff to avoid the heat thing ( i watched a lot of videos, for some reason i like watching videos instead of playing this game but i decided to go on and play a lot more than i used to,i watch only skippy about this game).Īnd i don't really know how to set up base(a functional one),i like the pillar and railing base but after a while it seems boring and ugly same for the loop where zombies can't really do anything. If you're the kind of person who that setback would enrage or cause you to stop playing, then you should separate it so it doesn't happen. If you don't mind the risk of zombies destroying important crafting stations or chests, there's no real reason to separate the two. I also prefer to have an easier time repairing and building things, so building high for the defenses is imo the better option. I personally prefer my crafting and storage separate from my horde base. So it's better to build a Bunker on top of the hatch and down there build all the crafting stuff? Better is subjective. Makes repairs much easier and allows me to build in an escape route, and also minimizes damage done if zombies decide to burrow a bit. When I do a cave base, I tend to build my defenses up high near the surface- Almost like a bunker that then has an 'elevator' (elevator style shaft with a ladder) down to my base on the far side of it. So definitely set up a bigger hole with a ramp leading down to your defenses at the minimum.
